MAA DURGA PUJA SAMITI is the Committee Made to Organize Deshahara Puja and Other Festivals in Organized Manner at Bishunpur, Garhwa, Jharkhand.
Garhwa district is one of the twenty-two districts of Jharkhand state, India, and Garhwa town is the administrative headquarters of this district.
On 1st April, 1991, some areas of Palamau district was carved out to form the new Garhwa district.
The district lies between 23° 60’ and 24° 39’ north latitude and 83° 22’ and 84° 00’ east longitude, and is bordered by river Sone on the north, Palamau district of Jharkhand state on the east, Surguja district of Chhattisgarh state on the south, and Sonebhadra district of Uttar Pradesh on the west.
